A Toyota found partially sunk in a nearby pond was also not occupied. The paper reported that the two vehicles were being prepared for shipment to Iraq and ended up stolen and abandoned in the two locations."The locomotive sustained significant damage," Amtrak spokeswoman Karina Romero told the paper. The tracks were closed for about three hours. Passengers were transferred onto an MBTA train for the remainder of the trip into Boston.

  3. FALMOUTH, Mass. -- State and Falmouth police continued their investigation on Monday into a weekend crash that killed two people and injured seven others.

Also killed was a passenger in the SUV who police identified as Michael Warren. No age or hometown was given.
