- Find a safe place so you don't get killed.
- put your car in park, turn your hazards on , (or if night put you parking lights on.)
- put the parking brake on
- take the jack out of your trunk and put it where the owners manual tells you to
- lift the jack high enough so that the tire is just a little bit off the ground.
- use the tire wrench, and loosen the lug nuts, take them off
- pull the tire off and put it where your spare belongs
- take the spare tire out and place the tire on
- put the lug nuts back on and tighten them but not really tight
- let the jack down
- now tighten the lug nuts
- put everything away
- then signal, mirror check, head check.

Assiment due 7/26/07
Change a tire on your family car under the supervision of one of your parents. If your not sure how to do it read your vehicles owners manual.Write a type 3 writeup. FCA's: 1.Describe the steps you used in changing your tire. 2.Describe the safety components involved in changing a tire.3. Correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Hope you enjoyed the course this summer and learned a lot about safe driving habits. Great job on learning how to use this blog.The nice thing is that it is yours to keep and reflect back on. See you in the fall and I hope you had a great time in Nova Scotia.
